Jakarta, Apr 24 (IANS): Mount Lokon in Indonesia's North Sulawesi province erupted Tuesday, an official said here.
Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, head of Data Center, Information and Public Relation at the National Agency for Disaster Management, said the eruption height is not known as it is covered by clouds.
"Tremors were felt five km away from Tompuloan crater," Xinhua quoted Nugroho as saying.
