Bangalore: Robbers Throw Chemical on Jeweller's Face, Get Away with Rs 12 Lac

Bangalore, Apr 24: A robbery of Rs 12 lac was reported from Kilari Road here on Tuesday April 24.

According to reports, some miscreants stopped a jeweller, identified as Prakash Gadgi of Anand Jewellers in the area, and reportedly threw a chemical on his face. Simultaneously, their accomplices arrived on a bike and snatched his bag and fled.

The bag is said to have contained Rs 12 lac in cash.

It is suspected that the culprits might have been watching Prakash's movements closely, as they had come armed with the chemical and planned it well.

Ulsoor police have registered a case and are investigating.

    Wrong move taken by the burglars. At least would have used 'chilly-powder' instead of chemical. It can work-out.
