There is a serious need of fly-over at Nanthoor and Pumpwell circles. Driving here is a big headache, you cannot guess from which directions vehicle will be driving. when talking about fly-over they shouldn't be like the ones in kottara chowki & Kuloor, they seriously doesn't make any sense they have worsened the traffic.

there needs to be a speed limit for buses.the case of express buses is even worse.they drive in a rash way. a separate fly over will be needed for these buses itself. they will horn at each and everything.bus drivers have no discipline when it comes to driving.even on a empty 20 feet concrete road these drivers will horn. corporation needs to do something to stop this thing done by buses which is going on for many years now. as they make drivers test for alcohol consumption etc put a speed limit for buses and you will see a change in the way people drive espsecially in and around mangalore. ive seen in goa , thailand, hongkong etc vehicles are being driven with utmost care and discipline , respect to traffic rules. i just wish this will be implimented in mangalore.

    Dear Walter ABUDHABI,
Your concern about a Flyover at Nanthoor is good. Before that let them complete the flyover which is near Bikarnakatte. I am not surprised if that is going to be a part of Guinness world record book.

Guys 15 no bus drive rashly in the city especially NANDINI MOTORS. My god I was about to die because of that bus last week. Not only 15 but all the buses.
@ Rahil, Mangalore What you Said is absolutely true I agree with you. Even after so many accidents people buy Omni cars. Even KSRTC buses are not less, even they drive carelessly.
DRIVE SAFE LIVE N LET LIVE BUDDIES. . .

These Maruti Omni should be banned on such highways as both the drivers feel that they are flying an aircraft. Now four people in the Omni are seriously injured as this kind of accidents can injure or kill the people in the small cars. Looking at the pictures shot by Brijesh Garodi we can clearly see the Omni was heavily damaged and not much to the bus. I pray to God for their speedy recovery.

Irresponsible comments from the readers. THINK. If the family relied on public transport, which is amongst the best in India, they wouldn't have purchased a car and would have been safe. Too many cars and too few roads. Its killing everyone.

Dangerous junction in Mangalore. Too much traffic . Very difficult to cross the road. This is high time to construct some walk bridges in school areas .Or atleast install signals.

Mr. Rahil, Maruti Omni is the most affordable vehicle to buy for medium and low range persons. In mangalore more omni's are used for scholar children transport. The accident occured due to irresponsible and negligence driving. So we cannot blame car for the accident......

Mr Rahil,Maruthi Omni is the most unsafe vehicle there is on the road. Small wheels, high body plus they add carrier on top plus the drivers of Omni are most reckless. This all adds up to be a death trap. How the hell, parents of little children allow them to travel to school in Omni. These children stand next to the windshield of the vehicle plus one may be sitting on lap of the driver.
Secondly this bus driver is the most vulgar human beast. I have called Kadri East station plus Police control tower on Him few times. He rides on the back of front vehicle with His horn and blinking lights. He thinks that He is ARASU of the road. I wished many a times that few bikers will join together and show this driver Arasu how to drive. I hope the injured will get better soon.

It's high time that a serious thought is given for an overhead bridge at this junction. There is lot of confusion specially in the morning and evening rush hours. Many accidents have taken place resulting in death or serious injuries both commuters as well as pedestrians. Concerned authorities should do this on priority basis to save lives of people.

Its high time that these private bus owners are brought to the books. Its the bus owners who are politically strong and get away easily. Also their drivers are left off easily. No one is prosecuted. When Delhi's famous blue line buses could be pulled off the roads by the court then why not these private buses? Come on yaar KSRTC is also doing a good job. People can do away off with private buses now.

This Maruthi Omni car should be banned. This is the only car which looks very unsafe. Especially the driver and the front passenger is fully exposed without any guard infront of them. Also this car is so light if any bus passes next to it at the speed of 80KM/Hr this car flies to the other side.
