Mangalore: Guruprasad Murder - Five of Kadle Manja Gang Surrender

Mangalore, Apr 24: A day after the brutal daylight murder of Guruprasad at Bibi Alabi road near Bunder, five persons surrendered before the police here on Tuesday April 24.

The five are Shailesh, Rakesh, Pradeep, Prasad and Sharan. All of them allegedly belong to Kadle Manja gang.


Guruprasad

Of them, Pradeep is said to be a member of an organization under Sangh Parivar.

The five of them surrendered before the Bunder police. A press meet is planned for Wednesday April 25 wherein police will disclose further details.

It may be recalled Guruprasad was killed in broad daylight on Monday April 23. The gang chased him from the bus stand to a juice centre and assualted him. He succumbed to his injuries at the spot.

Guruprasad was an accused in the Kadle Manja murder case. His murder was suspected to be an act of revenge by Manja's gang.

    No doubt these surrender killers will be released soon saying lack of evidence.As guruprasad after committing the murder was released. See some time later these killers will be killed by someone else and we come to know they were released.

    New set of drama now, murder someone and surrender, can lead a posh life in the prison at the expense of tax payer, police will get their hafta on monthly basis, and the politicians will take care of the criminals, these 5 will live like kings in the jail, police are also involved, these press conference is just to fool the people and get some cash reward from the govt. again at public expense, what a demcoracy we live in jai ho BJP Ha, now no Italy hand all Indian style

    Surprising that the killers have voluntarily surrendered within a day. On the face of it, this now appears to be a preplanned arrangement to bump of an unwanted and dangerous rowdy (both by authorities and opponent gang) with tacit understanding of using hired goons instead of an encounter!!! Conviction will be hard to achieve due to lack of concrete evidence and witnesses turning hostile!!

    There is definately something behind why they have surrendered. Either this is in pre-arrangement with someone inside the police or to escape in the safe heaven of custody from revenge attacks. I mean, the police know this set up. They make now a press conference to make a name for themselves but in the meantime protect the gang members who pay them.
