Mangalore, Apr 26:
Two women thieves were caught by the public and handed over to the Kadri police at Kankanady here on Thursday April 26.

They were caught while trying to steal bags from Suraya Banu, a passenger in a private bus at around 2 pm.

Suraya was on her way to a hospital in Kankanady. When the bus reached her destination she realized that her two bags were missing. When she raised alarm, the public noticed three women stealthily fleeing with her bags, and the passersby caught them and enquired. Police was informed immediately.

However, one of the three managed to escape, and the bags were recovered from the other two.

While the identity of the third woman is not known yet, the one who were caught are Seethe and Sarita. All of them are said to be from Tamil Nadu.

These kind of women should not be left, but punished. Look at the gold on her body and the saree she is wearing. She looks a terrible thief. They should be punished in a hard way, so the others to should learn.

What a waste after catching the thieves by the public and handing over them to the police. Hence forth Police should make sure that they take their Mobile number from the thieves so that they can call them and ask them or find out where they are in case they escape. I do believe we might have such police in our Force, for recently we have seen them issuing VVIP passes to laymen to see the Cricket match.

Such cases are common now a days and women having bad habit of carrying gold ornaments in the vanity bag.some alert onlookers, howerver, managed to catch hold of VYAGRA CHAMUNDIS(Pic looks like)in time. This shows that people are also cautious about what's going around them especially city like in Mangalore. People must extra cautious while going out that also wearing and carrying gold ornament.
