Dubai: 'Omzoorche Dive' Celebrates 4th Anniversary with Gala Event

Dubai, Apr 28: 'Omzoorche Dive' an association of Omzoor parishioners spread over the UAE celebrated its fourth anniversary at Park Regis Hotel, Karama on Friday April 27 with a grand event.
The programme began at 11.30 am with musical performances by the local artistes, followed by a prayer, a welcome song and cake-cutting ceremony by the members of the association.
'Omzoorche Dive' president Lancy D'Souza welcomed the gathering.Joseph Mathais, Dayan D'Souza, Mark Denis and Ronald Olivera were the chief guests.
Omzoorche Dive honoured Gilbert D'Souza, a well-known actor and drama director from Omzoor who came from California specially to attend the programme.
Live performanace by Mogachi Lehran group (Rathan, Preema, Asha, Mario) led by Vincent Fernandes Cascia rocked the occasion completely. Local singers Reena, Lancy, Joseph Mathais, Prashanth and Glaniv from Omzoor with their energetic performances, fun-filled comedy skits by Vinod, Prakash Pinto, David Lobo, music by the enchanting Arun Carlo and group, popular DJ Joel, and spectacular performance by Ocean Kids added charm to the evening.
Uttam Menezes, one of the top anchors in the UAE kept all the audience busy with spot games and jokes with his excellent skills. The programme ended at at 5 pm with vote of thanks by Babitha D'Souza, secretary of 'Omzoorche Dive'.
All in all, it was a wonderful day, enjoyed by the entire crowd.
