Mangalore, Apr 28: Rotary Club of Mangalore Central, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Mangalore City, as a part of their club’s vocational service projects, has instituted the prestigious state-level ‘Vandana Award’, which is conferred annually on achievers in recognition and in appreciation of their outstanding achievements in their respective fields of service such as art, music, culture, science, sports, and community service.
This year, the award will be presented to A J Shetty for his significant achievements in the field of medical education and health care.
The award presentation Ceremony will be held on Monday April 30 at Hotel Moti Mahal, at 8.00 pm. DK ZP president Shailaja Bhat will be the chief guest. President of the club Manjunath Revankar will preside and chairman of awards committee Dr B Devdas Rai will deliver the felicitation address.
