Mangalore: Budding Talents Hone their Skills at Sandesha Summer Camp

Mangalore, Apr 30: The valedictory ceremony of the summer camp organized by Sandesha Lalita Kala Academy was held at Kala Bhavan on Monday April 30.

St Aloysius College rector Fr Joseph Rodrigues presided over the programme on Monday morning. Sandesha Foundation director Fr Valerian Mendonca was present on the dais.

Addressing the gathering, Fr Mendonca spoke on the merits of holding summer camps and how they shape the overall personality of children.

Some of the participants narrated their experience at the camp and how it had helped them.

The summer camp was held in nine categories: keyboard, guitar, drums, Bharatanatyam, western dance, drawing and painting, art and craft, public speaking, and calligraphy.

As many as 196 students attended the summer camp that was held from Wednesday April 11 to Monday April 30 at Sandesha Lalita Kala Academy.
