Doha: Justice Santosh Hegde to Grace Tulu Koota's Annual Day Celebrations

Doha, May 1: Former Justice of the Supreme Court of India and former Lokayukta of Karnataka Justice N Santosh Hegde will be the guest of honour for the annual day celebrations of the Tulu Koota Qatar to be held on Friday May 11 at Doha Cinema here.

Justice Santosh Hegde led the crusade against corruption in Karnataka while he was the Lokayukta and has continued in the same vein thereafter by repeatedly voicing out his displeasure against mining mafia and even standing with the Anna Hazare’s movement.

'Ee Baale Nammavu', a Tulu play by Kala Jagathu Mumbai would be the special attraction of Tulu Koota’s annual day this year.

The occasion will also be graced by Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa as chief guest.

Dr Vamana Nandavar, the former president of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy will be the guest of honour on the occasion along with the Ravi Shetty, the managing director of ATS Group Qatar which is the main sponsor of the evening.
