Beltangady: Readymade Dress-Making Training Workshop Begins at SKDRDP

Beltangady, May 3: A one month readymade dress-making training workshop, using latest machinery began at a training centre of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) located in Raj Mahal building, Laila, recently.

It was organized by SKDRDP under the ‘Golden Dress’ project of the state handloom and textile department.

SKDRDP chief executive officer Dr L H Manjunath inaugurated the training workshop on Monday.

Laila gram panchayat president Sudhakar presided over the programme. Laila gram panchayat and development officer Prakash Shetty Noccha was the chief guest on the occasion.

SKDRDP human resources development director Manorama Bhat, Siri–director Mahaveer Ajri, Geetha, Rural Excellence Centre principal Harish Rao, instructor Usha and staff of Rural Excellence Centre were present on the occasion.

Twenty-six people are participating in the training workshop. Rural Excellence Centre lecturer Santosh Rao compered the programme.
