Mangalore, May 4:
The much-awaited Tulu movie 'Aamait Asal Eemait Kusal' produced by Ranjan Raaghu Shetty and Surya Menon hit theatres in the city on Friday May 4.

Speaking to daijiworld at Central Talkies, Ranjan Shetty said that the idea of making a Tulu movie came to the producer duo when they were students at Whistling Woods Institute. "We were waiting for a perfect script, and Vijayanna (Vijay Kumar Kodialbail) supported us," he added.

"We have put our heart and soul to give a quality movie. Songs are shot in a unique manner. Presently, there are two Tulu movies in the theatres including ours. The competition has thus increased which in turn will decide the quality of the film," he said.

Ranjan Raghu Shetty as director and Surya Menon as producer are launching their debut movie under the banner of ’Yodha Entertainment’. The film is based on 'Comedy of Errors' originally by English  dramatist William Shakespeare.

Veteran actor Navin D Padil as usual has brought delightful flavour to comedy. Debutant hero Jyotish Shetty has done justice to his role in the film.

When asked his opinion on his debut movie, Shetty exclaimed, "Am excited about the movie. The entire shooting was fun and a jolly ride. The crew and especially the producers and the director are good-hearted and it was a kind of family get-together."

The story has two sets of twins (Navin D Padil and Jyotish Shetty) as two servants and two masters. Confusion abounds throughout, which which is what makes the movie a wholesome family entertainer.
