Kannadigas can be given priority provided they excel in what they do. Else, private sector will turn out just like Indian government which runs on quota systems. Blindly reserving could result in Indian firms loosing out on quality of output ultimately business and eventually all those jobs that you have now

Very good motivation through “Karavali Job Fair” to attract more and more young generation to adopt working culture at very early stage so that they can stand still and live independently. But unfortunately, at one end we try to mobilize “Job Fair” like this but other end we scare Employers to run away from Karavali or Coastal region by giving lame excuse of environment, greenery, mangrove, etc. It means there are very little or limited options to get jobs in trading, servicing or IT Sectors only whereas manufacturing, factory or engineering sectors will not generate huge numbers of job for new generations. I think we can set a rule that 75% job quota should go to Coastal Candidates only

The elected representatives should convince more and more companies from Bangalore to participate in the JOB MELA.

These companies are using our soil, water and electricity. They should give 70% jobs to Kannadigas

Kudos to Karavali group of colleges - for organising such a placement drive -
It surely helps the expected 8000 students - this year - to get suitable placement - I have not heard or seen in daiiji or any other news - St. Aloysius and others having such placement drives (may be they have) but this takes the cake - as many like me know how these colleges help out their students - now-a-days more in the news is better than quietly doing things - I wish Karavali group of colleges all the success and wish them well in their future endeavours. Hope they will get more and more students in their colleges - as they have this policy to help many of them placed well after their successful studies - very good attitude
