Muscat, May 6: KUDLA FRIENDS, Muscat coordination with Majan Events Management (Group Kaleem ent LLC) presents Hilorious Tulu drama “Dada Malperapundu”  on Thursday May 17th at Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel.

Once again a Lakumi group, led by a dynamic leader, actor and director Ln. Kishore D Shetty, an active member of Lions club, Managing director of Leeds Group, Mangalore is a business by profession, above all he is a great promoter of Tulu language, culture and drama.



The “Dada Malperapundu” has already performed 100 shows all over India as well as in Gulf. This play will be staged first time in Muscat for all the Tulu speaking audience. The story revolves on the helplessness of humans against the fury of nature or Almighty. Whatever efforts one puts in, however  hard one tries to achieve a target, ultimately the result is decided by nature or the omnipotent Almighty. The message is conveyed to the audience through powerful dialogues, brilliant acting and the best of the scenes typical of Tulunadu culture.

Leading Tulu drama stage performer such  as Aravind Bolar, Sundar Rai Madara, Naveen Shetty Alake, Vasant Amin, Ravi Surathkal, Dharmendra Amin, Suresh Manjeshwar, Shobha Shetty and Suchetha Kavoor are featuring in this drama with their brilliant and flawless  performance.

Story and dialogues are by Naveen Shetty, Alake and music composed by Rajesh Bhat Kalavaru both of them have proved themselves as the best in their respective fields.
Jeppu Chidananda Naik of M Pallonji, Qatar a staunch lover of Tulu language, culture and heritage has extended his full support. The event is brought in by Kudla Friends, Muscat and the Majan Entertainment are co-ordinating the whole event.

The event aims on not only bringing the Mangalorean community in Oman together but also aims in bringing the community together for a purpose to protect, preserve and promote Tulunadu’s ethnic and socio-cultural heritage, to promote and celeberate festivals with caste and creed.
