Ajman, UAE, May 21: Thumbay Moideen – Founder President of Thumbay Group, U.A.E. a regular and an enthusiastic participant as a Speaker recently attended a couple of conferences/seminars. He was the invited Speaker for the following prestigious international events :
Moideen attended the Mediconex Cairo Health –Health Finance & Investment Forum held in Cairo, Egypt from the 18th to 20th of April 2012. The session covered mergers and acquisitions, investment in healthcare real estate and investment in medical education. Moideen spoke on the topic of investment in medical education and healthcare.
On the 05th of May, 2012 Moideen participated as a Speaker in the Interactive Seminar on Muslim Business – Best practices, Growth & Continuity held in Durban, South Africa. He delivered a talk on ‘Creating Trend Setting Brands’.
Later, on the 9th of May, 2012 he participated as a Speaker in the ‘2nd Leaders in Healthcare Conference’, held at Nasrec, Johannesburg, South Africa. The session addressed the difference in strategy between Public Private Partnership and Private Equity and how the Government should analyze the best option for its people (nation and customers alike). Topics revolved around strategy, management and leadership enhancement aimed at macro drivers to generate a direct impact on growth. Selective in its focus, the conferences challenged norms to place delegates on the frontlines of healthcare innovation. Moideen spoke elaborately on the topic of ‘Effects of Privatization on Healthcare and the steps to ensure short and long term privatization in the region’.
Moideen has been invited to take part as a Speaker in the upcoming ‘Leaders in Healthcare- Hospital Build & Infrastructure Middle East 2012, Exhibition & Congress’ to be held in Dubai from the 04th to 06th of June, 2012.
This session will address the difference in strategy between PPP and PE and how the Government should analyze the best option for its people (nation and customers alike). He is also invited to participate in the upcoming ‘Medic West Africa’ to be held from the 16th to 18th of October 2012 at the New Expo Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
