Kuwait : Sabiha, Kiran and Zainab Bag First Places in IKFS Calligraphy Contest

Kuwait, May 21: Sabiha Bilgrami has won First Place in Hindi Calligraphic competition, while  Ms. Kiran and Ms. Zainab  have won the first places in Urdu and Arabic Calligraphic competitions  organized by Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society  (www.indo-kuwaitfriendshipsociety.com)  at Salmiya Indian Model School (SIMS) on 11th May 2012.

Nisrin Merchant won the second place in Hindi Calligraphy, while  Ms. Samah, Ms. Sumayya and  Shymaa  have secured Second Places in both  Urdu and Arabic calligraphies.  Zainab  secured first places both  in Islamic Quiz and General Quiz competitions.


















The second places in Islamic Quiz were won by Kiran Khaled, Sumayya and  Samah  while   Afraah, Shymaa  and Adil won Second Places in General Quiz competitions.

Many of the participants showed superb artistic talents during the given time of 2 hours.   Ismail Hudaiwi, Islamic Scholar and SUNNI Council Secretary was the Quiz Master for the Islamic Quiz competitions. While  Lakshmi Kalyana Subramaniam, Principle of GULF INSTITUTE for strategic and Technological Studies  controlled the General Quiz competitions along with Engineer Sayed Fadal Nizar as Quiz Masters.

President Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor presided the function. A.K.S. Abdul Nazar, General Secretary welcomed the participants of the competition along with guests. Treasurer Iftakhar Ahmed and Joint Secretary  Pradeep Rajkumar guided the Program rules and supervised the competitions. Noushad Abdul Hameed assisted in the Judging contests.

The cash awards and prize distributions will be convened on 1st June 2012 at the premises of  GULF INSTITUTE for Strategic and Technological Studies at SALMIYA, Block 9. For more details contact: ikfsociety@gmail.com
