Mangalore, May 23: Ace photographer and a senior photojournalist secured first place in the photography competition conducted by Sportscraft in association with Mangalore Motorsport Club during Gulf Dirt Track National Championship-2012’, here in city recently.
Among ‘A’ and ‘B’ category, Sathish Era bagged the first place in the ‘A’ category and Chandrahas Kotekar secured first place in the ‘B’ category.
Sathish Era is a senior photojournalist, presently working for Udayavani, a Kannada daily. He has been working in the field of photojournalism for 15 years. He joined Udayavani six years ago.
Apart from this award, he has also been recognized by the Sagar Photography Society for his photo for the theme of ‘Village life’ in 2007.
