Mangalore: Bishop Releases First List of Priestly Transfers

Mangalore, May 26: Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, bishop of Manglore on Saturday May 26 released the first list of transfers of the clergy for the year 2012.

Among the significant changes, Fr Valerian D'Souza will be the parish priest of Milagres church, and Fr Walter D'Mello will proceed for his studies.

Altogether, 56 priests have been transferred/appointed.

    It is very sad to hear transefer of Fr. Alban D'souza from Barkur Pariesh, really we are upset hear like this kind of news.     We are very grateful to Rev.Fr.Cyprian Pinto for his dedicated, inspiring, valuable service and very good support and relationship with all the Parishoners. He built a loveable Parish Family in Loreto. He started English Medium Hr.Pry. & High School in 2010 & 2011. We wanted him to stay back at least two more years in Loreto. We will be missing him at Loreto. Wish you all the best Rev. Fr. Cyprian Pinto. We will pray for you.
