Bunts Bahrain Celebrate Nine Fruitful Years with Sparkling Event

Bahrain, Jun 5: Bunts Bahrain under the able leadership of Pradeep Kumar Shetty got together at the Intercontinental Regency here to celebrate 9 years of togetherness in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The event started with welcoming of the chief guest Padmashree Dr B R Shetty and other guests in a traditional style with 'Kumba Swagatha' followed by lighting of the lamp by the guests and the executive committee.
The celebrations began with a cultural programme and a prayer song, followed by the prayer dance ‘Vakratunda Ganesha’.
Bunts Bahrain president Pradeep Kumar Shetty welcomed the gathering and thanked the chief guest, the guests of honour and all the guests for gracing the occasion. In his presidential address he also thanked the sponsors, volunteers, supporters, media and community members for their support to the executive committee in organizing the mega event.
Bunt Bahrain energetic performers presented a variety of dances and a skit which was well-appreciated by the audiences.
During the event Padmashree Dr B R Shetty was felicitated by the executive committee and the platinum sponsors. On this occasion, an audio visual presentation about Dr Shetty was also shown.
Special guest of honour Karnataka Rajyotsava Award winner Aikala Harish Shetty of Mumbai Bunts Sangha and his wife Chandrika Harish Shetty were felicitated. Aryabatta Award 2012 winner Praveen Kumar Shetty, winner of Aryabhata award (2012) and chairman, Fortune Group of Hotels was also felicitated by Dr B R Shetty and Bunts Bahrain president Pradeep Kumar Shetty.
Praveen Shetty has delivered heart touching speech in his reply for the honour bestowed on him.
Vijaynath Vittal Shetty and family, Mumbai, Mohandas Shetty, Bunts Sangha, Mumbai, Rajagopala Rai and family, Mangalore, Praveen Ballal, Hebri, N Sathishchandra Shetty, president, Kuwait Bunts and Mahesh Hegde, vice-president, Saudi Bunts were also felicitated during the event.
Platinum sponsors of the event Shantharam Shetty, Ramee Group of Hotels, Sudhakar H Shetty, Prudential Manpower, Prakash Shetty, Central Café were honoured by the chief guest.
Gold sponsors of the event Naveen D Shetty, Jithendra Hegde, Rajiv Menon and Selvaraj were also honored.
Shashidhar Shetty Kenjoor, who is leaving Bahrain after staying here for decades, was also felicitated.
