Since 50% of a student's PU/CBSE/ISC marks for Phy/Chem/Math/Bio are counted along with their CET scores for CET ranking, CBSE and ISC students are slightly disadvantaged as they do not score high marks in CBSE or ISC as compared to state PU students.

The general standard of CBSE or ISC is higher than state board PU. The exams are tougher and marking is also not as liberal as PU. Since most of the convents follow ISC or CBSE, the students from convents do not usally get high ranks in CET. That is why many students opt out of CBSE/ISC schools and join PU schools/colleges after their 10th, so that they have a better chance of getting a higher rank in CET.

    Naresh Dhillon, Kinnigoli-Near Bital Bar/Patiala,
Do not send your children to any convent school. Send them to Govt. School, so that you need not to pay donations.

Prathiba Patil – President of India, Meera – Loksabha Speaker, Sonia Gandhi – real power behind PM Proxy Manmohan Singh, Sushma – Leader of Opposition Parties in Loksabha, Vrinda, Jayanthi, Hema, Jaya, Lata, Rekha, etc etc. Else one day you will have to become “Cheer Boys” in IPL Matches and Girls will sing “Naach Mera Munda Tujhe Paisa Milega”
