Bangalore: Another Girl 'Driven' to Crime, Masterminds Ex-Lover's Murder

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Jun 9: Instances of women being masterminds behind major crimes are alarmingly on the increase in Bangalore. A couple of days ago, Daijiworld reported the case of a young MBA graduate who was arrested by Bangalore police for a series of pickpocket crimes. And now, the case of another 'lady don' has come to light, a young woman who masterminded the murder of her former fiance, and his friend. The fiance escaped death, but his friend become a victim of supari killing.

Background

Sushma, a student of Malleshwaram's MES College plays the lead role in this incident. Coming from a well-to-do family Sushma had the privilege of travelling by Bolero bought by her parents for her comfort. But little did they know that the car would prove to be the turning point in their daughter's life.

Her parents hired Manjunath, a young driver for the Bolero. The young souls fell in love each other. 'Rich' and 'poor' did not come in the way of love between driver Manjunath and student Sushma. A couple of years back, Sushma and Manjunath eloped, and spent some 'quality' time in Goa, Mangalore, New Delhi and Mangalore. The parents lodged a police complaint, and later the 'lover couple' was arrested in Delhi.

The love story ended there for Sushma. She distanced herself from Manjunath, but her lover could not forget her. He continually tried to contact Sushma, started blackmailing her and threatened to expose the photographs they had taken in their 'leisure' trip. He also threatened to throw acid on her face.

Though Sushma tried to stay away from Manjunath, one Hussain, Manjunath's friend, was closely following Sushma and giving details of her whereabouts to Manjunath. This made Sushma wild with anger, and she decided to take the 'bold' step of finishing off both Hussain and Manjunath.

Sushma plotted their murder and hired three supari killers. She called Hussain and took him in her Bolero. She also forced Hussain to call Manjunath along. Luckily for Manjunath, he could not make it. She drove the jeep to a forest area, where the three supari killers attacked Hussain with weapons, killing him on the spot.

Sushma, who reportedly hails from Tamil Nadu, fled from Bangalore to Vellore in Tamil Nadu. The incident happened on May 11 last month. The Jalahalli police with the help of Hussain's brother Akbar and Manjunath launched a massive hunt for Sushma, and finally on Thusday June 6, the police were able to find her in Vellore in her relative's residence.

The police also arrested the supari killers Ajay (20), Laxman (27), and Abhishek (19) who were later remanded in judicial custody. Two others who gave asylum to supari killers Deepak (19) and Rasan Kumar (20) were also caught.

One can't help feel sorry for Hussain, who ultimately became the victim in the entire episode.

@veera mangalore . I am surprised with ur justification of crime just becoz she is a woman. The person who knows , what life is and how precious it is , vl not comment in such a hastle. I hope she gets severe punishment ( no lineancy just becoz she is woman ) . Girls often elope with guys and slip away easily when her parents come to know about the affair. In this case guy was innocent , looks like pampered by girl itself. May be was desperate after girl dumped him. He could have moved on .

Whenever a mistake or crime is committed by a woman it is sensationalised to a great extent. What one is capable so is another.
It is bad to kill another human being. What has driven a girl to commit that crime? Stalking, blackmailing, threats of defacing, spying. Her ex boyfriend as well as his friends are equally responsible. A man in her position if driven to it also might have committed the crime. Who knows how much of mental agony she might have gone through before she took that step?
That she could have got help from her parents or law is another thing.

Personally, I feel Sushma is not in the wrong. If wommen were tough with their tormentors, crimes and harrasment against wommen will be reduced, if not stopped

Brave Girl! This is called NOT living in fear. I admire her daring. There may be many girls who are living with fear of blackmailing. I am not appreciating the crime but what else Sushma can do? I request the authorities to review the case all angles and reduce the punishment to Sushma. The driver and Hussein are the real criminals.

My self came to know ferocious side of the women soon after marrige!! In this case the driver left no choice for the girl - 'either she should be the victim for life of blackmailing' or 'the driver should loose his life'. How much a supari cost?

It's request if possible Daiji World should publish good articles rather than on crimes. By which chances of 'good' becomes bad without noticing. We won't gain anything from such articles - only go on bad things in our mind. Our 'body' itself is place for 'God' need pure thing to restore.

Never ever believe girls. What's in there mind God only knows. Anytime anywhere they slip - without knowing other's - even not consider to bother there own family members.

Best example Maria Susiraj who chopped her fiance Neeraj Grover like 'chote-chote tukhade' as she is going to prepare 'keema' with the help of former b/f Emily Jerome Mathew.
