Udupi: Jerry Dias, Sandhya Pai Among Winners of Achiever Awards

Udupi, Jun 11: "The district has attained major achievements in different spheres and an opportune time has come to contemplate on reaching great heights," said Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes.
Fernandes was speaking at a ceremony organized by the Udupi Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Hotel Kidiyoor Sheshashayana hall, on Sunday June 10, to award top achievers from various fields.
"The district has made rapid strides in industries and calls for serious thinking to achieve major growth in education, exports, health, tourism, farming, dairy farming, and banking spheres," he added.
"Although Udupi and Mangalore towns are different, they have retained their individualities. Meanwhile, the district is leading in industry, finance, and cultural growth when compared to other districts of Karnataka," stressed Fernandes.
"The felicitation of top achievers in their respective spheres for the first time by Udupi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is noteworthy. The honours will inspire the recipient to excel in his or her chosen sphere," emphasized Fernandes.
The top achievers in different spheres were conferred awards on the same occasion. Among the awardees were Jerry Vincent Dias of Mandavi Developers and Sandhya S Pai of Manipal Group.
