Mangalore: Another Dream Comes True for Education Pioneer Hajabba

Mangalore: Another Dream Comes True for Education Pioneer Hajabba

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (VM)

Mangalore, Jun 12: Hajjaba, the fruit vendor who is responsible for education of hundreds of children in the village of Harekal, is set to take his pioneering efforts a notch higher.

His long-cherished dream of having a building for his high school will finally be realized on Thursday June 14, when the new block will be officially inaugurated.

In 1999, Hajjaba initially started a primary school from first standard and through his hard work and help from donors he could fulfill his dream of opening classes till 10th standard, adding a class every year since its establishment. For the past five years classes for high school sections were being conducted in primary section and in the school auditorium as there was shortage of classrooms.

HPCL has donated two classrooms to the school and NABARD has sanctioned 18.62 lac for development of school.

Hajjaba’s hard work does not stop with the completion of primary and high school. He next wants to build a pre-university college, if and when the government gives the green signal.

The construction of primary and high school is been completed but the school still lacks playground, road and drainage system. During monsoon rain water is accumulated near the school building.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will be inaugurating the school building and MLA U T Kadar will be the chief guest.

Shailaja Bhat, zilla panchayat president, N S Karim, Bhavya Gangadar, city taluk panchayat president, Muhammad Mustaf, taluk panchayat member, Rasheeda, Harekala gram panchayat president, Edward Mathias, Harekala grama panchayat vice president, DDPI Moses Jayashekar and many others will be present on the occasion.

Such a Novel Effort!! and selfless service, Where are the people who thrive to run montessori, if they gave the donation collected at least for 1 child , what a change it would have caused. In a city which thrives on selling education like vegetables and stating the market value of it , he is a rare gem. Hope all the magnates and private Deemed univerisity promoters take a leaf out of his book. Since they fake a charity every year to retain their status.

Investing his hard earnings in educating the needy children to secure their life, when your own life is not that secure. Wow. I cannot think of a nobler deed than this. You are an angel sent by God and great inspiration to all. I wish you long life and more success in your secure investment

yes Rakesh Shetty finally you are right 'NOW HIS DREAM COME TRUE BECAUSE OF OUR STATE BJP GOVT'. Your BJP is so strong that it requires people like Hajabba .Hajjaba carried orange baskets on his head and sold them at the bus stand and used the savings to start a school and now all of a sudden Your MP is ready to inaugurate the school. It’s unfortunate that he requires a permission from the state government for starting PU courses . The PU permission is the only reason Hajjaba finally went to seek help from political heads and invited them to the school to cut the ribbon.

Going through this article gives truly a pleasant feeling.Felt like meeting Great Hajabba personally to congratulate him on his achievement.Wish we had atleast one Hajabba in each village. But unfortunately people like Jossey Saldhana instead of appreciating Noble work done by Hajabba,is more eager to know the contribution made by our MP.How unfortunate and Ridiculous.

The hard work behind this huge task is just imaginable.

Wonderful job done with efficiency. No selfishness behind this project. He didnt do this for him. He want to see the children of his locality become educated and come in life.

State Governments job but done it alone. May GOD give him more strength to improvise his school.

Many children in India at rural villages are at lack of education for not having the proper schools at their nearer places.Living Saints like Mr.Hajjaba may increase in and around the world to reach out the many poor and to the uneducated. For only the good samaritans can reach out the poor and needy to built up talents or uplift the talented, is their life motto.Truely we wish Mr.Hajjaba al the best, he may soon complete his present mission by buiding school and may his future plans for building up the pre-University College also be fulfilled with the appropriate and major support by the government sources in time.
