    Dear Frank,
Everywhere in the web , you are trying to create difference between Kannadigas and tuluvas than showing love for tulu.
Common sense tells that, even when tulunadu state is formed and tulu made the official language, there is no need to reject any language such as Kannada, english, Hindi etc,. Tuluvas are not such people. So many langauges are used in M'lore such as tulu/kannada, Hindi,Malayalam,Byari Bhashe,English,Konkani, etc.

Kannada and tulu have co-existed in south Canara for more than 2000 years. Tulu and old kannada are similar languages.
Why are you singling out Kannada for rejection ? Why not Hindi also, which is a threat all Indian languages ?

THUL:U LANGUAGE CAN BE EASILY STUDIED BY THE YOUNGER GENERATION BY FOLLOWING THE RULE OF TRANSILITERATION (and not TRANSLATION ) WHICH SHALL GIVE THE CLEAR MEANING OF THE THUL:U WORDS WHILE WRITING BY USING ENGLISH SCRIPT. THIS OPENION IS SO BECAUSE MANY SAY OWN SCRIPT IS NOT NECESSARY TO LEARN THUL:U . IF SO THEN THERE SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSION WHILE WRITING AND RAEDING THUL:U WORDS WHILE USING ENGLISH SCRIPT. IT IS IN THIS DIRECTION I HAVE MADE IT A POINT BY ADDING A SEPERATE CHAPTER IN ALL MY FUTURE BOOKS ( SEVEN IN PIPELINE ) SO THAT READERS WILL READ THUL:U WITHOUT CONFUSION . A LOT OF EXAMPLES ARE GIVEN SUPPORTING THE RULES SO THAT THUL:U CAN BE READ BY USING ENGLISH SCRIPT ALSO.THE WORD " TULU " IS SPOKEN AND WRITTEN DIFFERENTLY WHILE SPEKING IN THULU AND KANNADA AND EVN THIS VARIES FROM PLACE TO PLACE . ALL THIS CAN BE CLARIFIED BY ADOPTING THE RULE OF TRASILITERATION CORRECTLY. THIS WILL ALSO INCREASE INTERESIN THE MINDS OF THOSE WHO DESIRE TO LEARN THULU. HOWEVER, THUL:U LIPI CAN ALSO BE EASILY STUDIED AS PER MY FIRST BOOK ALREADY RELEASED AND ANOTHER BOOK WHICH IS UNDER PROCESS.THE FIRST BOOK " THULU LIPI THERILE " WAS RELEASED IN MUMBAI ON 28.1.2012 BY THE PRESIDENT OF KARNATAKA TULU SAHITHYA ACADEMY MANGALORE
( THERE ARE SEVEN MORE BOOKS RELATEDTO THULU LIPI, THULU SAAHITHYA AND THULU CULTURE ARE READY WAITING PUBLICATION.) A LOT MORE CAN BE CONTRIBUTED IF THERE IS FINANCIAL SUPPORT. PEOPLE SAY WHAT IS THE USE OF SUCH EXERCISE. I THINK IT ALL DEPEND HOW WE PLACE BEFORE THE YOUNGER GENERATION. "NO USE PLACING CART BEFORE THE HORSE" AS THE SAYING GOES.

    congratulations to award winners.
I agree Mr Mohan. KN Tailer is a vetern. When we speak about Tulu immediately tailer comes to mind. He is like rajkumar of Tulu. We always remember to call politicians whether they are important or no. We forget the core people sometimes in a hurry to please politicians.

All the people from tulu nadu must fight for a separate state so that we can have our own cm and ministers, our own culture. Kannada should be rejected in tulu nadu and Tulu should be made the official language.

Very surprised to see tulu film superstar and yesteryears tulu film maker Bisatti Babu fame KN tailer is missing in the function. Very unfortunate this legend is kept aside . Really speaking there are very very few real prominent tulu members in society who can be even counted with finger tips.

    Jai Tulu Bhashe...

Thanks to BJP Govt for holding Vishwa Tulu Sammelana in 2009 and introducing Tulu in schools as a language.

Tulu Sammelana should be held every 5 years.
