Bangalore: Ex-MP's Kidnapped Daughter Traced in Chennai

Bangalore, Jun 19 (PTI): Daughter of former Congress MP H G Ramulu, who was allegedly abducted for ransom from a crowded shopping complex here yesterday night, has been traced by city police in Chennai.

"Vishnuvandana is being brought back to Bangalore in a police vehicle. She was found alone at the Chennai Railway station by police," Bangalore South DCP Sonia Narang told PTI.

47-year-old Vishnuvandana was expected to reach here tomorrow morning, Narang said, adding, she could provide information on the nature of the crime after questioning her.

She was allegedly abducted from a crowded shopping complex at Jayanagar around 7 pm yesterday when she had gone for shopping along with her niece Dolly.

Ramulu had told reporters that his son-in-law Ravikumar had received a call after 7.30 pm from Vishnuvandana's phone and she told him that an unidentified man and a woman were taking her in a car and had demanded Rs 30 lakh ransom for her release.

Might be a game plan by daughter it self. She is 47-year-old Vishnuvandana. Not a teenage girl or unmarried.

So all eyes will be towards herself / her husband.

This was most likely arranged but failed case by daughter of MLA to get money from daughter-in-law.
Another case may be that the MLA wants free tax payers government security cover for family.
Very easy to see the story.
