Abu Dhabi : Bangarda Kural - First Tulu Movie Premiered in UAE

Abu Dhabi, Jun 21: The screening of the successful Tulu Movie “Bangarda Kural”  (Golden Bloom) was held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday June 20, at Eldorado Cinema in the presence of dignitaries and houseful audience.
 
The inauguration of the movie was conducted by Padma Shree Dr. B. R. Shetty – Chairman & MD of NMC Group of companies and presided over by Ram Shetty -  Producer, Script Writer and Director of the film.  Prakash Bhandary – ACP – State Intelligence Mumbai Police (Pettai Pili fame) was the special  guest. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. B.R. Shetty congratulated the Ram Shetty in bringing out a standard movie to the Gulf which has won the hearts of thousands of movie lovers back home.  He also appreciated the efforts of Jagannath Bellare in bringing the movie to the UAE audience.
 
A formal opening of the movie to the Abu Dhabi audience was carried out by lighting of symbolic lamp and cutting the ribbon at the Eldoardo Theatre premises by Dr. B. R. Shetty along with dignitaries, which included Raj Shetty M.D. of  Ramee Group of Hotel, Ronald Pinto – Managing Director of Hyssna International, Shekar Shetty of Arab Udupi Hotels,  Sudhir Shetty – COO of UAE Exchange, Jaganath Bellare (the man behind bringing the movie to the UAE), Manohar Tonse, Dinesh Shetty, Shodan Prasad, Ganesh Rai and various others.
























































































The Tulu film  under the banner of “Anand Films” was originally released all over Karnataka on April 27, 2012 and it set a  record by  releasing simultaneously in as many as seven theatres across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
 
Sarvotham Shetty – a social worker and a great organizer, who was instrumental in bringing together the Tulu Movie buffs from all over Abu Dhabi,  spreading the  news  through his relentless efforts by   word of mouth, and emails  compered the event .
 
This is the first time a Tulu Movie being released in the United Arab Emirates through efforts of many and their efforts are praiseworthy.
 
Ram Shetty – the man behind this brilliant movie has given fight  direction to nearly 445 movies in various languages, including, Hindi, Marathi, Tulu, Bhojpuri, and oriya languages.  His 30 years  span in the film industry was eventful  and  during the period he has ventured into producing  3 tulu movies (Badkere Budle, Dareda Sirae including the latest block bluster – Bangarda Kural).  He has involved himself in more than 800 films in various ways.
 
In his brief speech Ram Shetty revealed that his dream of serving the Tulu language through this media has fulfilled.  He was longing to produce a quality movied like Bangarda  Kural using latest technology available in the industry, breaking away from the tradition, showcasing the splendor of Tulunadu.
 
After the brief inauguration ceremony the movie was screened to the delight of the packed audience and was well appreciated.
 
The Movie is based on family oriented theme – “Divine victory over evil with faith”.  The movie will be appreciated by all women as it depicts woman’s  travails in  day to day life and has all the ingredients of a successful blockbuster movie  - an experiment never witnessed before in Tulu cinema.
 
 
The star cast of the movie includes - Shivadhvaj, Paki Hegde, Anand Shetty, Comedian Aravind Bolar,  Kishori Ballal, Shobha Rai, Namrata Hegde, Suresh, Dinesh Attavar, Vasu Shetty, Tonese Vijay Kumar Shetty, Bhagya Rai, Jyothi Rai, Ashiwini  and others have done justice to the their respective roles.   The movie is shot at Someshwar, Moodbidri, Bajpe and in Mumbai, depicting the beauty of picturesque sceneries of Karnataka and its surroundings.  The Music Director V Manohar has done a wonderful job in synchronizing the theme of the movie with the appropriate melodies taking into consideration the local sentiments and eventualy dishing out melodious songs.    
The movie is worth watching as these kind of Tulu movies are hard to come by in the Gulf and also to encourage Tulu language and the efforts of the makers.
 
The movie is being screened in various places in the UAE and the schedules are as follows with repeat screening in Abu Dhabi on Saturday – June 23rd at 7 p.m.

    They tried to make Tulu movie, They could do much better job.

    Lead actress, Aravind Bolar and Music was good.

    Use more Bolars for present generations.

    It was a very Nice Movie Great Work by Ram Shetty & equally supported by very Talented Stars Specially Ambika,Shivam & the Comedy Stars.It was a nice Entertaining Movie & it was a previlage to attend the Premiere Show, Thanks to Mr Jagannath for Bringing this show to Abu Dhabi & we expect more Similar shows & tulu Plays to be staged in Abu Dhabi .All the best for all your Future Endeavours .

    Congratulations on successfully premiering the first TULU movie in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The film is very well directed and equally supported by talented acting with an emotional drama that kept its viewers glue to their seats. Its a family oriented movie which can be enjoyed by all, young & old. My special thanks to my dear friend Ozwald D'Souza of Daijiworld.com for such a wide coverage & promotion of this wonderful TULU film.
