Mangalore: NCAT, Delhi - AIMIT Students Among Top Ten in India

Four students of AIMIT, St Aloysius College (Autonomous) who participated in the National Creativity Aptitude Test conducted by the International Forum for Excellence in Higher Education (IFEHE), Delhi, have been placed among the top ten in India.
 
More than 10,000 students participated in this test conducted nationwide with participants from engineering, management and science streams in institutes of higher education enrolled in graduate and post-graduate courses.

For students in different years of their degree courses there were separate tests in which student’s creative thinking and logical reasoning abilities were tested. The test was conducted in two phases. Round 1 was conducted at the college end and from category 5 (students of first year MBA/MSc./MCA/MTech) and category 6 (students of 2nd year MBA/MSc./MCA/MTech) . Four top performing students of St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) were qualified for the next round of Test.
 
Round 2 was conducted at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in which more than 75 colleges participated. Students from St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) namely Blandina Jyothsna Fernandes from 2nd year MCA Secured 2nd rank and has received cash prize of Rs 15,000, Prakyath K V from 1st year MCA secured 4th rank, Randeep B from 2nd year MCA secured 8th rank and Lakshmeesh Venkatramana Hegde from 1st year MSc (software technology) secured 9th rank.
 
These Students have qualified for the Residential IIT Certificate Course of one week at IIT Delhi on Creativity and Innovation.
 
AIMIT students have been excelling in curricular and extra curricular activities. The training imparted to the MCA, MSc (software technology) and MSc (bioinformatics) and MBA of AIMIT gives them an extra edge over others and give them excellent opportunities to be successful in life. AIMIT is proud to have many of it’s past students already become entrepreneurs.
