Dubai: Association for All Communities - Shiroor Leads the Way

Dubai, Jun 27 : UAE is a place for people various communities and religions from across the world. From Karnataka alone, at least 50 various state and regional-level organizations are spread here. A majority of associations that serve here belong to particular communities, while a few are formed to promote state language and culture.

But the natives of Shiroor, near Byndoor or Bhatkal, who are spread across the UAE have set an exemplary precedence to the people various regions here by forming an association of all communities. Muslims, Hindus and Christians - there is no religion, caste, or language bar here. They have all joined hands to do something for their people back home.


































Mohammed Mustafa, Mohammed Yahya Kazi, Dr Hasan, Abdul Khadar (Bashu), Vinay Kumar Shetty, Joy Fernandes and Shantaram Shetty were among the many from Shiroor present at Bangalore Empire Hotel, Karama Dubai at a formal function held recently.

The first president of the association Syed Ibrahim presided over the function.

The programme started at around 7 pm with Bhagra Sadhan Das taking charge as the compere. Sharatham Shetty introduced the guests on the dais and welcomed the gathering. The logo was launched by the guests and the committee members on the dais.

Addressing the gathering, Mohammed Mustafa said that reaching out to take care of each and every problem or need back home should be the prime object of the association.

Dr Hasan stressed on the need for supporting education back home. "Every single child back home must enter school," he urged.

Philanthropist, educationalist, and NRE entrepreneur Abdul Khadar, popularly known as 'Bashu' is the pride of Shiroor, having created a landmark in the region with his brainchild Green Valley School. Present on the occasion as a guest, Khadar, on learning of the need for immediate ambulance facility to Shiroor declared that he was willing to donate an ambulance, if the day-to-day maintanence could be managed by the locally in Shiroor.

Abdul Khadar, who also promotes DINA Special School in Shiroor has decided to donate the ambulance in the name of school.

Later, speaking to daijiworld, Khadar said that ambulance facility was the need of the hour for the people of Shiroor, as currently they do not have a good, sophisticated and fully equipped ambulance. "If the newly-formed association is willing to take the lead and the responsibility, I am willing to donate a well-equipped ambulance for the people of Shiroor," he said, adding, "As ambulance requires 24-hour vigilance, being ready to serve people anytime, you need a good association or a group of people to manage such an important service."

Politician Raju Devadiga and entrepreneur Venkatesh Kini who came all the way from Shiroor were were felicitated on the occasion.

Joy Fernandes conducted games for children and gave away exciting prizes.

I also compliment your selfless service of setting up of Green Valley National school at shiroor to serve the locals in a rural area.The school started yeilding results by sending hundreds of students to professional colleages.Your effort of providing an ambulence to shiroor is a great service.Happy tob associated with you
