Bangalore: BJP Emissary Asks Ministers to Withdraw Resignations

Bangalore, Jul 1 (PTI): On a mission to resolve the latest crisis starring the BJP Government, the central party leadership's emissary Dharmendra Pradhan today asked the nine Ministers loyal to B S Yeddyurappa to withdraw their resignations which has thrown the D V Sadananda Ministry into a turmoil.

"I ask all nine ministers to withdraw their resignations to pave the way to resolve the leadership issue," Pradhan, in-charge of party affairs in Karnataka, told reporters at the state RSS headquarters before leaving for New Delhi.

Pradhan said he would apprise the party central leadership of the consultations he held with the two warring factions of Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and his predecessor Yeddyurappa who is insisting on a change of guard.

He said he was hopeful that the party central leadership would resolve the issue. "I will discuss with central leaders and hope a good decision will be taken by them," he said.
At the end of his hectic consultations within the BJP, Pradhan today met RSS leaders and briefed them about the situation brought about by the resignation of nine ministers to put pressure on BJP central leadership to remove Gowda.

With both factions crossing swords, Pradhan was deputed as the central emissary to defuse the crisis.

Yeddyurappa, whose earlier attempts to secure chief minister's post failed, has been targeting Gowda, a loyalist-turned foe, seeking his removal and projecting Minister Jagadish Shettar as the alternative.

The party central leadership had yesterday summoned Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda to New Delhi to resolve the crisis.

The summons came hours after the turmoil in the BJP state unit showed no signs of abating as the B S Yeddyurappa camp stuck to its one-point agenda of ousting Gowda.
A day after nine Yeddyurappa loyalist-Ministers quit precipitating the crisis, Gowda expressed confidence of resolving it with the intervention of the party's central leadership.

State BJP President K S Eshwarappa, who met Gowda, said there was no question of accepting the resignations.

This is small glitch in the party, still they are better than Congress/JDS. Sadananda Gowda should stay away from Deve Gowda and sons.

Nithin Poojary, Mangalore/UK...absolutely correct.they hell cannot. To sit in centre & rule India you need to have Phd in Looting. Like our present Govt. BJP is still doing Graduate studies in following congress footsteps. They need to post graduate and then start doing their thesis and research under the scholors like DR Dr Sharad Pawar, Prof A. Raja, Dr Mulayam Singh Yaadav, Dr Karunanidhi, Pdh Dr Lalu Prasad Yaadav and recently doctorated Prof Kalmaadi from University of UPA. Also BJP has bright prospectus in future as they have bright students like Yeddi, Nurse Renuka, Laxman Savadhi....in making. Given a chance they will burn down parliment and even Rastrapathi Bhavan to distroy evidence. Congress is not a match. So considering all this i doubt 2014 will be BJP's. May be 2015...ye one year after.

Just one simple question....BJP high command cannot rule a state with absolute mandate....Whether it is possible to rule the country if it comes to power in 2014.

THIS IMBALANCE IN BJP IS BCOZ THIER FINANCER'S/SPONSORS CALLED REDDY BROS MISSING IN THE CABINET.

NOW THEY ARE PAMPERING THE GOVERNOR NOT TO IMPLEMENT HIS RULE.
SO HIGH COMMAND VS LOW COMMAND=NIL COMMAND.
NO GOVT IN KAR NATAKA, ALL ARE MAKING PARTIES AT DIFFERENT PUBS AND BARS.
BE CAREFUL MR MUTHALIK WILL COME AND ATTACK YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS THINKING THAT U ARE ENJOYING WITH GIRLS.

It looks like that this person is a messenger without any authority. Instead of requesting 9 ministers to withdraw their resignations, he should have requested DVS to accept their resignations with immediate effect and call for an early election.

Need of the hour for BJP is kicking out Yeddi & his Gang. IF situations and numbers permit DVS take help of JDS and continue the term with some MOW. All is fair in politics as Yeddi & congress is in mercy of each other as the former one needs to save him self from CBI & the later to cash in Lingayat votebank, JDS-BJP merger SODA is not a bad idea. Or DVS should dissolve the assemble and go for fresh Mandate atleast BJP might get 1 more seat than congress. But the real gain in next state assemble will be for JDS which I belive may be better for Karnataka as the state has got its own local issues especially if the party can safegaurd the intrests of states farmers & produce irrespective of what party rules the center. Kumarswamy and some of his team members like YSV Datta & MC Naanaiiah looks more promising than any other leaders or looters should I say.
BJP high command if bows down to the demands of Yeddi & his team this time then it will be the last nail to Karnataka BJP Coffin hit by none other than thei own high command.

What should karnataka people expect from the government. We heard powerstruggle between the parties. This is the struggle with in the party. How can elected ministers can serve the common man if they are busy with fighting within them. Sometimes DEMOCRACY can be very weak and KARNATAKA politics is the example. Yeddy should be make PM of INDIA and ask to initiate fight againist Pakistan. One question still haunting us !!! How Mr. Gowda can keep his BIG smile on Always????

This is what happens when the party is built with persons coming from gutter. They can only cause turmoil in parliament, or organise bundh or show goodism. They cannot rule the state in decent way. It does not matter whether they have support of MLAs or not. The outcome is same old currupt governance.

All the BJP High Command people should attend a Course called Team Buidling and Problem solving exercises .Both East and West should meet .Western world gives good knowledge about the Science .We should take them and East has good Philosphy we should give this to the westerners .Management is a Science .If those thoughts are well implemented nobody can defeat BJP in the whole of India for at least 50 years from now

This is simple....DVS should learn from Eddy.He should disqualify the MLA's and minimise the numbers required to save the government. This is what the BJP did and always do.
