Mangalore, Jul 2: The Medical Council of India has sanctioned the increase in number of student intake for the MBBS course from 100 to 150 at Father Muller Medical College for the academic year 2012-13 as per u/s 10A of the IMC Act, 1956 as amended.

Father Muller Charitable Institutions were established in the year 1880 by Fr Augustus Muller, a Jesuit missionary from Germany. The institution, from its humble beginning 132 years ago, has grown into a vast complex today having 1,250 beds. The institution, while growing leaps and bounds in the area of medicine and medical care, has also not lagged behind in the area of medical education.

Father Muller Medical College completed a decade of its fruitful presence in the field of health care and education in 2009. Post graduation courses have completed two decades.

The institution strives tirelessly to provide ample opportunities for the intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth of its students, stated a press release.

We thank and praise God for sending Fr.Muller to Mangalore.
Fr Augustus Muller, a Jesuit missionary from Germany, did exactly what Jesus told His followers in "The Parable of the Mustard Seed" Mt.13:31.
Let The Kingdom of heaven come alive in this great institution where there is Healing, True Love and Peace.
