Kundapur, Jul 2: St Mary's P U College, Kundapur celebrated their freshers day on Saturday June 30.
 
Chief Guest Vivian Crasto ,President Rotary Club, Kundapur South, was welcomed by the first year students. Fr Anil Dsouza parish priest of the Holy Rosary Church -Kundapur, presided over the function
 
 Melvin a second year commerce student hosted the programme. The function began with a prayer dance and a balloon was released to mark the occasion.

The chief guest in his message advised the students to concentrate on their studies and not to waste their time by browsing on social networking, games and mobile phones.

The Presidents message delivered to the students was to always be  disciplined at all times whether it was inside the college premises or in public places. He also advised the students to make the best use of the facilities provided by the college.
 
A cultural programme held by the students was showcased at the end.
