M'lore: Yakshagana Artiste Tharanath Varkady Balyaru's Book to be Released on Jul 7

Mangalore, Jul 5: 'Ondondu Nadigoo Ondondu Kathe' a work by Tharanath Varkady Balyaru, Yakshagana artiste of Shree Dharmastala Mela, will be released at SDM College Hall, Kodialbail, on Saturday July 7 at 5 pm,” informed DK district Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura at a press meet held on Wednesday July 4.
 
“The programme is being organized under the joint auspices of DK district Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Kalkura Prathistana, and Dr Kilaaru Gopalakrishnaiah Prathistan and with the blessings of Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade,” he added.
 
The book consists of stories extracted from the ‘Purana' and 111 such stories have been compiled in the book.
 
On the day of the book release, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura will preside over the programme. Astavadhani Dr Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj will release the book. Humor writer Bhuvaneshwari Hegde will introduce the book. Dr N Narayan Shetty (Chaandasa expert) will be honored with Kalkura Award on the occasion.
