Kunapur, Jul 6: The silver jubilee year of the Small Christian Community was inuagurated at the Holy Rosary church here, recently.

The parish representatives of SCC, ward leaders, vice-president and secretary of the parish pastoral parishad, Fr Anil Dsouza and college principal Fr Praveen Amrith Martis walked entered the church and made their way towards the altar with 25 lit candles as a significance of the silver jubilee.

The Bible was venerated on the altar with incense and was showered with flowers. The silver jubilee year was inaugurated by the parish priest and the principal by unveiling the theme ‘Jivaal Bhavadth, Karyaal Samuday’, followed by a solemn thanksgivingEucharist ceremony.

The message delivered during the sermon service was to "Build up the communities with a positive thought in mind and to be the herald of good news to the society".

The whole parish community religiously participated in the festive celebration.
