‘Jammu and Kashmir Bachao’ , Andholan was organized at the Udupi Clock Tower near the service bus stand by BJP leaders.

Raghupati Bhat, MLA presided in the protest and said that since 1947 October 26, Jammu and Kashmir has been an inseparable and important part of India.  

They recalled that Kashmir has always been a part of India and we have to try our maximum to keep the state with us.  Any state that wants independence from the country, would go against the law.

The Kargil war that lasted for a long time is an example of our solders dedication towards Kashmir. From 1988 onwards 16 families of the deceased soldiers have received the Paramveera Chakra for protecting Jammu and Kashmir.

Every state and district has its own problems and issues but when it comes to our country we should be united said Uday Kumar Shetty, Udupi BJP president.

Ujjadi Prabhakar Rao, Bhaikady Suprasad Shetty, Thingale Vikramarjuna, Shyamala Kundar, Bharathy Chandrashekar and others were present.
