Mangalore, Jul 9: Dr N Narayana Shetty, prosodic expert in Kannada language was honoured with Kalkura Award by the Kalkura Pratishtana president, S Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, on Saturday July 7 at SDM College auditorium.

Astavadhani Dr Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj, Humor writer Bhuvaneshwari Hegde, Dr M Prabakar Joshi, Kumbale Sundar Rao, SDM College principal Devaraj, Janardhan Hande, J K Bhat Seraje, Seraje Seetharam Bhat, Tharanath Varkady among many others were present during the occasion.
