Mangalore, Jul 17: Mohammed Ameen has been unanimously elected president of the new committee of Kanara Chamber Commerce and Industry for a year's term.

The election was held during the annual general body meeting convened here on Tuesday July 17. 

Nigam B Vasani was elected the vice-president.


Other office-bearers: M Ganesh Bhat (honorary treasurer), Rammohan Pai Maroor and Jeevan Saldanha 9honorary secretaries), chartered accountant B Chandrakanth Rao, M Aziz Ahmed, Nitte Yathiraj Shetty, P B Abdul Hameed, Suneel Pai, K Ramachandra Bhat, Prashanth C G, Christopher Noronha, C Vathika Kamath, Mahesh Padav Shenoy and Madhavaraya M Pai (committee members).
