Mangalore: Four Caught Red-handed for Possessing Ganja

Mangalore, Jul 24: Police on Tuesday July 24 arrested four persons red-handed on charges of possessing ganja.

The arrested are Suresh, Tejas, Prasad alias Leslie and Gautam, all from Shaktinagar. Another man who was with them managed to escape and is absconding.

They were arrested red-handed smoking ganja at a place near Ramakrishna Mission ground here.

The police had been tracking the foursome for quite sometime, based on complaints from people in the neighbourhood. It is said the gang used to smoke ganja regularly at the ground, which is a public place, and hence cause nuisance.

Approximately 50 to 60 grams of ganja was recovered from them at the time of arrest.

The police also seized three two-wheelers and an auto rickshaw from them.

Mangalore rural police are investigating.

    One in a blue moon why not smoke grass but with a limit ? Its a good feeling.Anything consumed in moderation is good.

    Isn't Pan Parag, Liquor etc sold openly ? Isn't that intoxicating too ? In Gujarat Ganja is openly sold. Infact the cops too smoke it.Its part of daily life like having a cup of tea.

    Now a days Cops find innovative way of making some pocket money. Instead of catching real thief or criminals and they are going after wrong people.
    Police should know their priorities.

    These days this is normal among youth in twin districts, parents of teens should be alert, routine checks in their rooms, checks on pockets before washing clothes required, if hes grwing a goaty and listens to Bob Marley then defenately hes into it, look for the accessories they wear around neck or at ankle if any of these contains green yellow and red strips, look even in thier sandals for these colours, and brothers please what i juss said is a hint which i had noticed, am not defining it.

    Rama Sene and BD come to know only about cattle transportation anywhere in the district and promptly attack them because that is done by minorities most of the time. They don't care about drug dealers and other criminals.

    Long time before, even i used to smoke in Shaktinagar. There is lots of adda in shktinagar itself.

    Thanks to almighty, for helping me to quit smoke. I am really a happy person now. How u gave me a courage to quit, please help my fellow brothers to come away from that deadly habbit.

    People,

    Most geniouses I have ever seen in my life used to smoke "ganja/pot"...take examples of former and current presidents of US Mr Willam Jefferson (Bill) Cinton and Mr Barrack Obama....both admitted smoking it when they were students.

    In the state of California,,, anybody can smoke it with a doctors prescription....known as " Medical Pot"...

    I think it should be same in Mangalore as well....
