Mayawati's Statue Vandalised

Lucknow, Jul 26 (PTI): The statue of former UP Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati was today vandalised by some unidentified persons in Gomti Nagar area here.

The white marble statue installed in the Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal was damaged by some persons this afternoon, sources said.

A big hammer was apparently used to vandalise the face and head of the statue, they said.
Heavy police force has been deployed on the spot.

    Very few in our history have elevated themselves to the level of Almighty and erected statues, some in Tamilnadu including Jayalalitha, some in North Korea, Germany , and now this despicable woman one among them.
    I think the greatest sin of human being is to get worship from others which only God deserves. I wait to see what kind of death this vicious power hungry and corrupt woman will get and the curse her worshippers invite.

    The amount of about Rs.600 crores spent on the park/statues which is the place of pride for the backward is not a waste. Every citizen belonging to backward community takes pride while taking a look at the park.

    It is surprising that people are criticizing this as a waste whereas very few comments are seen against the massive scams of other politicians especially in the central government.

    Atleast can identify her 'grave'...due to vandalisation we should try to be safe.. otherwise our 'grave' will be not be recognised by our next generation people.. Handiwork of you know very well..goons of..who failed in UP..

    This is a very good news and this should have been done very earlier. Great work done. Why we should there be a heavy police force. All her statues and of Elephants should be vandalised and thrown away. maya spent more than 300 Crores only in building statues which was fllish of herself. She could have used this same amount for the poor by building houses for them but she buily Parks with her statues. All her statues should be bulldozed. She did hardly anything for UP in her 5 year rule but buily only Statues. Why people and Media is making a huge cry on this issue is surprising. The person who did this should be given an Award.
