Udupi, Jul 27:
Two women, said to be best friends, have gone missing from Sasthan since Tuesday July 24.

They are Sridevi (25), wife of Chandra Poojary from Pandeshwar in Sasthan and her neighbour Pratima (25), daughter of Rama Marakala.

Sources said that they had left home for work at 5.30 am and did not return.

On enquiry, their families learnt that they did not reach their work place on July 24. Both the women are employed in the same factory.

The families are not only worried, but left clueless as to the cause for the disappearance and their whereabouts.

A case has been registered at Kota police station and investigations are on.

The police department has to do a lot of home work to find out the where about of these two working women. Even the families have to cooperate with the police in giving some clues. I feel something is fishy about this as they cannot disappear in thin air just like that. God help them in finding these two young women.
