Mangalore: Ronald Pinto's Solo Art Expo Depicts Myriad Shades of Sea

Mangalore, Jul 27: 'Pearl of the Sea' an exhibition of unique paintings by Ronald Pinto was inaugurated at Orchid Art Gallery here on Thursday July 27.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Ashu Bedra, producer of Kannada serial 'Radha Kalyana'. This was Ronald's second solo exhibition.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashu Bedra congratulated Ronald on portraying the beauty of the sea on canvas and urged people to encourage young artists.

"It is very important to know the inner depth of the painting, only then the artist's creativity can be known," he said, informing that Ronald had also exhibited his art on television channels.

The paintings by Ronald Pinto are a result of his work over a period of one year. His current series of works are on the diversity of sea scapes and continuation of his earlier works on desert life exhibited a year ago.

Some of the paintings on display are ‘Richness of the Sea’, ‘Shining Pearl’, ‘Twilight in the Evening’, ‘Serenity of the Night’, and ‘Journey into the Sea’.

Ronald Pinto proposed the vote of thanks and William Pais, managing director of Orchid Art Gallery compered.

Wilson D'Souza, Ronald Pinto's wife Babitha Pinto among others were present.

The exhibition will be on till August 4.
