China Babs 137 for organising Illicit Organ Sale

Beijing, Aug 4 (IANS): As many as 137 suspects have been arrested in China in the latest crackdown on human organ trafficking, said authorities.

The operation was jointly conducted by 18 provincial police authorities in late July, reported Xinhua citing a statement from the ministry of public security Saturday.

Organising underground organ transplantation is a crime under the Chinese law.
