Subash Padil to be booked Under Goonda Act: R Ashok

Bangalore, Aug 5 (DHNS) :  Home Minister R Ashoka on Saturday said that the mastermind behind the attack on the youth at the ‘Morning Mist’ homestay in Mangalore on July 28 would be booked under the Goonda Act.

Ashoka told reporters that he had directed the police to show no mercy in dealing with people creating tension in society through such acts.

“We have already arrested 22 accused in the case. Booking the mastermind under the Goonda Act will send a strong message to people who intend to pose a threat to peace and harmony in society. It will also be a warning to people who have the habit of misbehaving with women,” he said.

On July 30, Ashoka had told the Legislative Council that the State government would book the accused in the homestay attack case under the Goonda Act, and he would not show any mercy to anybody while taking action.

Prime suspect

Subhash Padil, the prime accused, has already been arrested by the Mangalore police.
ADGP Bipin Gopalakrishna said the final report on the homestay attack would be submitted to the State government within three days.

“We have already submitted the interim report to the government. Once the final report is submitted, the same will be presented before the High Court as a related PIL is pending before the court,” he said.

‘Police not at fault’

When questioned about the statement by C Manjula, Chairperson of the State Women’s Commission, that failure and negligence of the Dakshina Kannada police led to the attack, Ashoka said there was no question of failure.

“Within eight hours of the attack on the homestay, police arrested eight of the accused. The investigation is progressing well,” he said.

Padil was leading his team to molest the girls and also the one who recorded. The gang of 50 were busy torturing the youngsters. Then why only Padil under goonda act? Why not full gang as well as their Chief who is training and paying them? When will Govt. take action against the fanatics training centers?

WC Chairperson says with in eight hours eight suspects have been arrested!!Basic question of policing failure here starts. Why they were not let go from the spot itself? As per video clipping and eye witness police and culprits together thrashed victims!!!?When Media mad it as a national issue then only district admin and police took it serious.Pub attackers were left Scot free and these attackers of MORNING MIST HOME STAY would be left free in due course of time?Under BJP Govt anything illegal can happen and history is the witness.

    Dear Readers,
They deserve more than this, this is just a drama of 3 days. Surely they will get bail in few days and they are out in the state with the same bloody profession using the name of activists group (what ever the name). I feel this group has to be banned from the country.

Police is boasting about arrest. All 40 culprits were infront of them on the day of attack, but they did nothing to arrest them on spot. Rather they were busy in arresting victims, beating victims. C. Manjula need to sent to mental asylum. Munna bhai morning Mist is the biggest culprit, he stole jacket of Girls.

Looking at next elections...govt is taking action.
One of the girl is a senior police (LOKAYUKTHA)officer's daughter.
Subash Padil quit BAJRANG DAL went against Mr.SARAN PUMPWELL & joined HJV & opened a office in Pumpwell itself to show Saran a lesson(Now KALADKA PRABHAKAR BHAT MIGHT HAVE INFLUENCED GOVT TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST SUBASH WHO WENT AGAINST SARAN).
Since BJP came to power they have taken back 369 cases against these goons & communal riots cases all over karnataka(HATS OFF TO BJP Govts Brave Decision's).
Subash has not informed the police station(these groups before taking up any work they inform police dept n then they do their criminal activity) this is called setting with police station so police will be there within seconds after attack....this is a understanding off the BJP & all the groups before taking any criminal attack.
People who have got caught doesnt have any other job...they are paid members of these groups.
Next Sobha karandlaje may get griha mantri post then she is a kattar RSS & she may change her decission n S.Padil will be out on bail.
How can they put goonda act on only on one guy,let them put on all the boy's who involved in this act.

    Dear Readers,
Why BJP is taking action against these goons (who have been breeding them all this time) is because of the next assembly elections. They dont want people to vote against this party. If not, why was the 2009 pub attack repeated??? If BJP government had taken strict action then, the goons such as Subash Padil and others would not have involved in another attack. For BJP this incident has become too difficult to digest.

Mr R asho says "Within eight hours of the attack on the homestay, police arrested eight of the accused. The investigation is progressing well,” Subhash Padil was just beside the police on the same day, If police have acted promptly could have arrested in aminute.. and banged himm immediately before the public so that he will not do such things in his life.. Police lost that chance .. Because it was pre-planned, The BJP govt wanted to create communal violence...
