CBSE Introduces Online Registration


Bangalore: Aug 10 (DHNS): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced online registration of students for Class 9/11 for the year 2012-13.

Registration forms have been sent to schools to fill them online, the CBSE Controller of Examination, M C Sharma stated in a letter to principals. Schools affiliated to CBSE up to secondary level (Class 10) need to submit details of students on roll in Class 9 in the current academic session. Schools affiliated to the Board up to senior secondary level (Class 12) have to submit details of students on roll in Class 11 in the current academic year.

The deadline for online registration:
Without late fee: September 15; with late fee: October 30
Receipt of final list of students along with fee in the CBSE regional offices: September 22 (without late fee); November 6 (with a late fee)
Registration fee per student
Schools in India: Rs 200; schools abroad: Rs 1,000
