Saint Lawrence was one of the seven deacons who was in charge of looking after the poor, sick, blind and crippled of the Church. He had the privilege of safe keeping the original Holy Chalice which was used by Jesus and His apostles during the last supper.
    Saint Lawrence, pray for us.
