Very saddened by the tragic loss of life of a Child. May God give strength to the Parents to bear the pain and grant their daughters' soul rest in eternal peace.
My daughter is studying in the same School. Suggest the Government Authority to install low-height reflective rubber speed breaker on either side of the road entrance to the School and warning signs 40M ahead of the speed breakers, so that it doesn't affect the two-wheelers much thus could help in reducing the speed limit of the vehicles.

Very sad news. People with bigger vehicles please take care of others' children too. It may happen to your children any day. Leaving the careless driver so early is not good. Make him feel guilty about his deed. Though it was not done deliberately he should have taken care.

THERE IS NO FEAR OF LAW OR RESPECT FOR LIFE OF FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS.
HOW CAN THE CAR BE SO CARELESSLY DRIVEN IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL GATE?
CAR OWNER MUST BE QUITE A POWERFUL MAN AND HENCE HE HAS ESCAPED CUSTODY.
EVEN IF HE IS ARRESTED BY EVENING HE MAY BE SERVED ALL HE REQUIRES IN THE CELL.
PARENTS HAVE LOST A DARLING AND THAT PAIN WILL REMAIN FRESH FOR YEARS AND YEARS.

Very sad and tragic incident. Our country is becoming very unsafe for children day by day for no fault of their. how can this Acharya who was driving the car run the car over the child after hitting the bike, why the police left him after arressting him the best way for him to repent is to look after the expenses of atleast 4-5 orphan children, so that his grave sin is forgiven since the police might leave him but he is answerable to God and will die a very painful and lonely death.

Manipala Police are very corrupt, they collect cash from students who drive two wheeler at late night with out reason some times. Lots of illegal things going on at Manipal but Police keep blind. What a shame. If people park the vehicle on the road infront of Manipala Police station also they don't bother to take action.
