Mangalore: Voters’ Enrolment Center Inaugurated at District Congress Office

Mangalore, Aug 24: A voters’ enrolment center for the eligible voters of D K district legislative assembly constituency was inaugurated at the district congress office here on Friday August 24.

Inaugurating the campaign, D K district congress president Ramanath Rai said that the eligible voters who were not enrolled in the voters list can come to district congress office to enroll themselves from now until the next election. All eligible voters under 197 booths in DK district can enroll their names to get the voters ID.

The programme was organized under the leadership of Congress leader Ivan D’Souza. He said even those who are residing abroad, can enroll their names online by completing the form 6(A). He added that the enrolled list will be send to the election commission.

Leaders Abhayachandra Jain, Moideen Bava, Mithun Rai, Praveenchandra Alva among others were present.
