When city roads are bad, what one expect to have quality on village roads.

Sad to hear the number of passengers injured.

But the photo hoisted by DAIJIWORLD shows a lot of good samaritans.

The last image shows a gentlemen giving solace to the injured is very touching.

DAIJIWORLD usual real life images is fantastic.

Our roads are out dated. Instead planing and building motor vehicle roads we just black tarred (asphalt) the existing bail ghadi roads (bori gadi). I think the solution is bringing back the bori ghadi or training the drivers on bori ghadi. Seriously, we need to straighten, widen these roads.

Given a situation, narrow road, one of us driving a car or jeep, bus in front of us, both standing face to face, you think we (I/you) would take reverse?

All we say is " Deppuya Pira, aat jaga undu,......".

Better we should stop plying 'Buses' in Mangalore/Udipi region and concentrate more of 'rickshaws'..Bus/Motorcycle is not meant for these regions..or to give proper training for all driver's in the beginning itself levying huge penalty against drivers/owners if any accident occurs..

Spate of serious accidents are not declining ! Media like Daijiworld is covering such incidents to bring awareness. Our Regional RTO's / NGO's should wake up and keep seminars for Drivers and educate them on Care and human life value etc. This is need of the hour ! Our precious lives are entrusted in these Drivers hands. Are we not supposed to be in safe hands ?

It's a regular feature on our roads and blame game by the offending drivers. This is not going to improve unless proper rules and regulations followed by all and the departments concerned act unbiasedly to punish and reform the real culprit .
