Reddy Bribed Jailer for a Luxury Stay in Prison

Hyderabad, Aug 29 (Asian Age /DW) : After allegedly making a mockery at judiciary by bribing the CBI Judges for bail, Gali Janardana Reddy has reportedly used the same trick for his luxury at the Chanchalguda Central Prison.

The Andhra Pradesh prisons department has decided to crack the whip on superintendent of the Chanchalguda Central Prison over allegations of corruption while dealing with the custody of mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy. Prison superintendent Keshav Naidu might be shunted out and made principal of the State Institute of Correctional Administration, Hyderabad. The department has sent a proposal to the government seeking the same.

Sources alleged that Jailer Naidu had accepted huge amounts of money from the mining baron, who was arrested in the Obulapuram mining scam by the CBI on September 5 last.
He is currently lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison. Apparently Janardhan Reddy gave the money to jailer to provide him with better amenities in prison.

With Naidu about to be transferred out, it has been proposed that K. Umapati, who heads the Institute of Correctional Administration, be made superintendent of the Warangal Central Prison. Warangal jail superintendent Saidaiah is likely to take over as superintendent at the Chanchalguda jail.

If PS Keshav Naidu has accepted bribe from J. Reddy, why he should be transferred to another place, instead of taking action against him.  I read many times in the news, the errant Police officers are transfered!!!   Why they are not taken to task?
This way the police officers know what ever they do, they will not be subjected to any punishment but will be just transfered to some other place. They say "WHAT THE HELL< WE WILL DO WHAT WE WANT"  Very funny these government rules and regulations!!!

This is not hard earned money but looted money by killing the nature of natural resouces. They say it is Faltu ka paisa. He has never worked hard to earn this money but in fact committed white colar robbery. I feel Supreme Court should imprison him for life.

Reddy will soon fade in public memory. Their Amma is in Delhi She has developed temp Amnesia. Sushma got Crores from Reddy and strengthened her position in High Command. Hafta vasool has become the norm in every organization. Position and Power depends on your capacity to mobilize funds. Shame.

Common, Reddy has suffered a lot and enough now.He is jail since a year with various allegations which may take time to come out for sure and got into several other problems now . Secondly CBI is doing all possible to tighten the ropes specially centre is in problem now.Irrespective of the parties lets wish that he comes out of jail soon and leads a good and clean life in future. I am not supporter of any bad deeds of anybody but just want to see positive side of Reddy instead of hitting him at this stage where is in deep deep trouble and mental trauma. Ofcourse law will take its own course. NO body knows whats in future for us. God bless all.

If Indian laws were strict & stringent, there is no place for these criminals in the society. His case shows the power of money in India. If BHARATA MATHE deserves respect, these criminals should be hanged immediately.

Well said RAHUL SHETTY. Ofcourse it is very good thing that he is jail but going by the history I don't think he will be there for long.
In India political power blinds everything else , and the crimes he has done will be forgotten.
Unless we have a revolution to get Independence for these corrupt dogs I don't think India will get better.
I really find it funny people say Indian will become superpower!!! India will be a true superpower when we have eradicated poverty, corruption homelessness and when there is justice after all regardless of his wealth or political status

ISMAIL.K.PERINJE, PERINJE-YANBU/KSA..agree with your comment on Janardhan Reddy when he chided one of rarest honest politician of Karnataka seen MP Prakash during his last days. Even i thought then this was Reddy's Ahankaara's Paramaavadhi.
With the suport of late YSR, he even entered office of Chandra Babu Naidu & threatened him that he would end his political carrier and end him up begging in the streets for which Naidu replied, son your age is younger than my political experience, so watch out.
I wish there was a point in law where the Givt could have seized Reddy's wealth and distributed among the draught hit farmers of Karnataka especially North Karnataka in which only reddy's money created votes one time.
