The government higher primary school, Hemmady is said to be damaged, leaving behind a series of problems.

The school comprised of classes from 1 to 7. Totally five classrooms have been completely damaged. All classes are conducted in a single room after the damage.

Nagendra Madhyastha DDPI and Ashok Kamath, education officer visited the school.
