Kundapur, Sep 6 : Yashodha Shirabur, a resident of Mudhol took charge as the new DYSP in the Kundapur DYSP office on Wednesday, September 5 evening.

After taking charge from the past DYSP Shekhar Agadi, she addressed the media and said that it was her childhood dream to become a police officer and serve the people.

"I feel really great to take over my job as DYSP in this region," she said.
She also added that the people of the undivided DK district were known for their benevolent nature as she was familiar with them during her eight months term as a probationary trainee DYSP in Puttur.

“I desire to give the best of service as possible during my term. I always remain dedicated to give social justice to the people. The media’s help is also largely required to be successful in my duty”, she said.

Congratulations Yashodha. Be the change that people want. Be the name that people love, be the fame that wrong doers fear.
The police department like all others deserve to be treated without prejudice. People let us not blame the entire police force because of a few corrupt officers. I am sure Yashodha while doing a good job will also bring a change in the way people think about the police force. But we the people need to encourage her and stand by her while she tries to do her job.
All the best to you, Yashodha and may the almighty give you the strenght and wisdom to do your job, deligently.
