Kundapur, Sep 6 : Yashodha Shirabur, a resident of Mudhol took charge as the new DYSP in the Kundapur DYSP office on Wednesday, September 5 evening.
After taking charge from the past DYSP Shekhar Agadi, she addressed the media and said that it was her childhood dream to become a police officer and serve the people.
"I feel really great to take over my job as DYSP in this region," she said.
She also added that the people of the undivided DK district were known for their benevolent nature as she was familiar with them during her eight months term as a probationary trainee DYSP in Puttur.
“I desire to give the best of service as possible during my term. I always remain dedicated to give social justice to the people. The media’s help is also largely required to be successful in my duty”, she said.
