Mangalore, Sep 7: Sompa movie crew set a new record of its own kind by calling the hard workers in the society for release of their music CD at a programme held at press club here on Friday September 7.
Mangalore’s first auto rickshaw driver, winner of the ‘Sarathi No 1’ Montu Lobo and 51-year-old woman Tara Nayak who supplies milk and newspapers early morning together released the music CD. Speaking on the occasion Lobo said that he is touched by the adore of Namratha Hegde Films team members for making him to release the music CD and wished that the movie will set a new record. Tara Nayak said that he likes Tulu movies and wished all success for the movie.
The yet to be released ‘Sompa’ Tulu movie is produced by Geetha Hegde and Namritha Hegde. Rajan Lalpuri, Mumbai has directed the movie. There are four songs in the movie. Bolli Paradedonji Menkundu, Mandedd Malla Mundas Olla, Udalaase Mudundu, Nikar Nikar Ke (Hindi) are the four different songs.
Iqbal Darbar has given music. Vijaykumar Kodialbail, Shashiraj Kavoor, Thamma Laxmana and Rajan Lalpuri are the lyricists, Dr Nithin Acharya, Dr Sushil Rao, Rimidar Arif have provided the background music. There is also a Hindi song in this movie.
Addressing the reporters, producer Namritha Hegde, who is the heroine of the movie said that by the next week the movie will hit the silver screens. The releasing date will be announced in two to three days. She also said that after the request from Ramappa’s family the title was changed to Sompa from Rampa and now the family has requested to change a few of the dialogues in the movie. “Let the movie be released so that people can watch and come to a conclusion. There is no defamatory in the movie against anyone”, she aded.
Actor Ajatha Shatru was also present during the press meet.
